Portland House Painter by Pearl Painters – Judith Spychalski | Painting Specialist
Judith Spychalski is an artist, educator, and decorative painter with a strong knowledge of materials and techniques in all areas of surface design. A graduate of Arizona State University in Painting, Judith has an extensive professional art and teaching career. Having traveled abroad, living and studying in Europe and Asia, Judith examined first-hand the decorative wall treatments, frescos, and mosaics of Italy, and the subtle textural surfaces and colors in the homes and gardens of Japan.
In addition, Judith has studied painting and pastel with some of the finest artists in the country including Harvey Dinnerstein, William Ahrendt, Clifford Beck, Milt Kobayoshi, and Gregg Kreutz. Her work has been sold through Trailside Gallery, Scottsdale, Arizona and Gallery East, Loveland, Colorado. She has had solo exhibitions in Japan and Arizona. Exhibiting her work in numerous national shows, Judith has won many prestigious awards along the way.
Judith has brought her expertise and the influence of these diverse cultural traditions to Pearl Painters. With Pearl Painters, Judith has created sophisticated custom wall treatments using textured materials including Venetian plaster, Marmorino, and modeled paper overlays. Judith and her crew have worked on projects for discriminating clients all around the Northwest. She has created finishes in all styles of homes from log cabins on Mt. Hood, Condos at South Waterfront and Homes on the Oregon Coast. Judith is always looking for new effects and application techniques to enrich our offerings.
