With Pearl Painters’ “Painter for a Day” service, we send one of our professional painters to your home for 8 hours to tackle whatever you believe we can complete in a single day. If you need two painters, we can send two painters for double the price – very straightforward! Or, two painters for four hours for the cost of one painter.
We discuss the options with you ahead of time and help you prepare for your project(s), so there are no surprises.
Generally speaking, this service is perfect for smaller projects, like a small bedroom, bathroom, or accent walls. For the exterior, we commonly can professionally repaint a front door in a day. We also handle challenging spots, such as two-story entryways or high places that require special equipment. If you’ve started painting your entryway and realize halfway through that reaching the top of the wall isn’t a safe choice – give us a call.
Whether it’s the inside of your home or an exterior touch-up, we’re equipped to handle both. Exterior projects like repainting front doors or small decks are common requests. Keep in mind, outdoor projects are weather-dependent, and drying time can impact completion.
Another exterior example is a chimney that is too high for you to reach. We can send out two painters for 4 hours for the same cost.
First thing – call us. It’s much easier to discuss your project(s) over the phone. While we chat, we’ll talk about what photos and/or videos you need to take and send to us. We need to determine what you need to do before we show up, which could include full preparation of the area. Keep in mind, if we have to mask everything off, that eats into your 8 hour window. So we’ll discuss how to use the time as efficiently as possible.
Basically, if you are capable of doing something ahead of time, we highly recommend you do it. For example, if you can patch holes, that saves a lot of time. We don’t want to sit around waiting for spackle to dry when you could have handled it yourself the day before!
Of course, if you don’t want to do any prep, that’s absolutely fine. Just keep in mind that any work we do – including moving furniture – will take up part of our 8 hour time limit.
After we’ve talked and you’ve done your homework, it’s time to make a list. Create a prioritized list of tasks that is longer than you think we can handle. We can easily bounce between tasks in order to utilize our time efficiently. For example, while waiting for a door to dry, we can tackle some beat-up doorjambs around the house.
We show up with all the tools and equipment necessary, from ladders to drop cloths. You just provide the paint! While we don’t guarantee all tasks can be completed in one day, we’ll work as efficiently as possible to make progress on your list.
With the “Painter For a Day” $760, we do not provide paint. This is the one thing that needs to be ready before we arrive. We will happily advise you on what paint to purchase if needed. Make sure that it’s completely shaken and mixed before we arrive.
