What We've Been Up To
Fall 2025
We post projects on a monthly basis, regularly showing off the painting projects that we've tackled throughout the Portland area.
Another great example for not needing to change the world in order to create a new feeling space. We came in, prepped and painted walls & ceilings, and within a few days, updated and brightened this client’s home.
These long-time return clients were ready for new colors and a new feel throughout their interior. We love projects like this – the photos speak for themselves! Notice that handrail. Old oak, transformed into an entirely new look and feel, without dropping BIG money on a new handrail entirely.
Full new build interior – also known as the works! Every single surface, full Pearl LUX experience. Walls, ceilings, trim, closets, doors, accents, all meticulously inspected from every angle, under every lighting condition. This is as top tier as it gets, creating the most perfect dream home that humans can create. Two full teams spent a full month performing the most exhaustive skill test we can provide.
Sometimes, a full interior remodel isn’t needed. With a little creativity and the right colors, you can simply paint walls and create an entirely new space and feel. Color alone can reshape your home, and it doesn’t involve moving out or dropping every penny you’ve ever made.
Subtle changes and upkeep can still make a lovely difference in your home. The weight it takes off your mind, knowing that bathroom ceiling is finally sealed, or that crack is taken care of, will do wonders for you.
THIS is how you take advantage of us being on site! We were all set up to paint the kitchen cabinets, and while we were there, made use of the timing to include the rest of the trim throughout the main areas. We also did the walls throughout these areas, ensuring this home is ready for whatever is thrown at it!
So nice we gotta do it twice! We did the office for this client last month, and they were so impressed with the new look and color, we were invited back to do the room next to it to match. The most common Pearl clients are return clients. Check us out and find out why!
Another long time client had us out for some repair work and one of our new favorite growing trends, color drenching! We took care of the office, handling some wall repair and painting walls, ceilings & trim. This home has a really cool dining room that has been repurposed into a speakeasy of sorts, and this is wear we did the color drench. You can see just how dramatic and bold the color has made the space, and it really lends itself to the vibe they were going for.
We have always specialized in cabinetry, and this is one of those showpiece projects for sure. Going from old, tired, wood veneer, to fresh new modern creamy white is a visual stunner! This project was done in a high rise condo in the Pearl District, we have done several now like this and were able to keep cost down by completing it all on site. Ask us how we do it! It’s a pretty impressive system.
A classic tale, and one we are happy to help with. Clients are moving into their new home, and just needed fresh walls done in the color that feels like home to them. We were able to get in right as they got their keys, get all painting done in just a couple days, and they were able to move in by the end of the week. We are all about efficiency and making magic happen at Pearl Painters!
These clients had made a whole bunch of changes and additions to their home since they bought it, and it was time for the cherry on top! We came in to take care of their cabinets with a new color, lots of prep and love, and even a little carpentry work to clean up some trim on the island.
We had the pleasure, as is typical with us, of doing the exterior of this home last summer, and we left such a great impression the homeowners had us back to do some work on the inside as well. For this project, we picked a new color and brought new life into the walls throughout most of the common areas. These projects are super quick for us to take care of, and have such a big affect on how your home looks and feels.
We all have small touch-ups that occur over time, and it can be real easy to become blind to them. This was a great case of small refreshes here and there making a huge difference! All those little wear & tear spots have been cleaned up, making the home feel new again.
We are back again for some of our favorite clients! This round, we focused on the laundry room, the front doors, a bathroom, and some other areas as well. We completed a full facelift of the bathroom and laundry room, including cabinets, walls, trim, and ceilings. It has been our pleasure to work with these homeowners and get to know them so well. We love providing top quality work and service, and these are the type of people that inspire us to keep pushing everyday to be the best we can!
These clients came to us ready to go with one of our favorite new trends, color drenching! With a spectacular new bold color chosen, they were ready for a big change – All the walls, ceilings, and trim were painted the same color. Important note for those interested: Make sure, like was done here, that the trim is still done in a trim paint and in a higher sheen than the walls and ceilings. It is key to the success of the color drench room.
These clients were looking to add a modern flair to the kitchen, as well as their own personal pop of color. We chose a new color scheme, and began the process of getting cabinets organized, cleaned, and ready for oil primer. That is one the most key steps in finishing cabinetry. All sprayed with fine finish spray tips for that nice smooth finish.
Located right at the peak of Bull Mountain, this is one of our favorite stories about family moving closer together. These clients have lovely grandchildren right down the road, and wanted to make this home their own. We did a full repaint on every surface, top to bottom. All trim, doors, closets, walls & ceilings were cleaned, prepped, and painted. Wallpaper removed in the bathroom and ready to new ideas. This home is ready for a new chapter!
A long standing client called us with a classic interior project we handle frequently. Vaulted ceiling with hard to reach spaces. She actually did most of the painting but needed the professionals, (and professional equipment) for reaching those high up tricky areas while still keeping the quality. We do smaller one day projects like this a lot during the winter and are always happy to help!
Like a lot of cabinet projects, this one involved 2 colors, and multiple spaces. It can be daunting, but of all the types of projects we do, it is most important to do as much cabinetry at once as you can. The economy of scale on cabinet projects is far more substantial than any other type of project. There is a higher base cost of getting set up and going, but once we are there, the rest goes quick!
We have done several interior projects for these clients, with the most recent being a bathroom remodel they took on themselves. They added new shiplap walls with a new design, and we came in to paint the original cabinets to match as well as the walls. Totally transformed space!
We love it when our clients become lifelong partners! We recently had a long-time client who moved from the Portland area out to Redmond, and we were thrilled when they reached out to have us handle their new space. A few times a year, we travel outside our normal service area for special projects—usually second properties at the coast, Central Oregon, or vacation homes on Mt. Hood. It has proven difficult to find the same reliable service and quality in those areas, so our clients find it’s well worth the investment to have our trusted crew make the trip. While our project rates stay the same, these out-of-area projects simply include the additional costs for food, lodging, and travel. Pro-tip: Thinking about having us tackle your vacation home? If our crew is able to stay on-site during the project, you will save big on travel costs — plus, our team gets a fun ‘work-cation’ retreat!
These clients hired painters only a couple years ago for the cabinets, and quickly realized there were issues. Color fade, paint chipping, and even ruined hinges. This is a classic case of poor prep and low quality paint. We started back at step one and brought everything up to a Pearl Painters standard, creating mechanical and chemical bonding onto cabinet surfaces, more sanding than you can imagine, and spraying proper cabinet grade paint in a professional fashion. The result is a beautiful kitchen that will actually LAST! Also as a side note this is the third project we have done for this client. Here’s their Google review too:
One of our favorite long time clients, who we have been serving since Pearl Painters first opened, had us out for some pre-holiday room painting. There was also some water damage that needed to be addressed. We took care of the damage, freshened up the walls, and had the pleasure of doing an Italian plaster accent!
This was another part of a bigger remodel. We have another 3 areas that have been re-done by drywallers to create smooth walls and ceilings prior to our arrival. We then came in, primed everything, sprayed all the old wood trim to give it a new modern look, and updating the colors to match their style.
